Wu Zilan (?)? ~In the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Dong Cheng, a minister of state, took part in Dong Cheng's plan to assassinate Cao Cao. He was found and executed by Cao Cao.

Follow the imperial edict

In the first year of Jian'an (195), Cao Cao welcomed Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty and moved his capital to Xuchang (now xuchangdong of Henan Province). He took the emperor as a puppet.

In the third year of Jian'an (198 A.D.), Dong Cheng accepted the emperor's imperial edict and conspired with Liu Bei, Chang Shui Xiao Wei Zhong Ji, Wu Zilan and Wang Zifu to get rid of Cao Cao.

He was killed when he failed

In the first month of the fifth year of Jian'an (A.D. 200), the plan of Dong Cheng, a cavalry general, to assassinate Cao Cao was leaked. Dong Cheng, Wang Zifu and Wu Zilan were all slaughtered.

In the novel the romance of the Three Kingdoms, Wu Zilan's life is similar to that of the official history, and he worships general Zhaoxin.

His first appearance was in the 20th chapter, Cao a conceals Xu Tian's encirclement, and Dong Guojiu's cabinet is under the imperial edict. Because of the imperial edict of emperor Xiandi of Han Dynasty, he and Liu Bei, Ma Teng, Dong Cheng, Wang Zifu wanted to get rid of Cao Cao.

In the 24th episode of the national thief's murder of imperial concubine Huang Shu and his defeat to Yuan Shao, Qin Qingtong, a slave of Dong Cheng's family, informs Cao Cao and is killed.
