Gan Fu

Gan Fu (1768-1834) was a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. Deji, Mengtian, mengliu, born in Jiangning (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province), is the eldest son of Gan Guodong. Gan Fu was fond of collecting books when he was young. When he was old, the library was called "jinzhuoluo", with a total collection of more than 100000 volumes. He was known as "the wealth of storing books", and pushed Gan's "jinzhuoluo" as the most. Many of them are rare editions of the song and Yuan Dynasties, such as the rare treasure handed down to today, Jin Shi Lu written by Zhao Mingcheng of the Song Dynasty. Lu Qian said in his Ye Cheng Jiu Hua that Gan's rich collection is called "Jin Pao Lou", and his gold and stone artifacts are the most famous, no less than those of Pan Wenqin.

In 1838, he was honored and worshipped in Dacheng Hall of Nanjing Confucius Temple. He compiled 18 volumes of jinzhuolou bibliography and wrote Zhong Xiulu. After Gan Fu's death, the book collection of jinzhuoluo was jointly managed by the following generation, Gan Xu and other five rooms. He had a rich family background. During the Jiaqing period, he suffered from the famine in the south of the Yangtze River. He gave a hundred burdens of grain and donated money for disaster relief, which was praised by the imperial court. In Daoguang's time, the officials were discussed according to their experiences. He is fond of learning and admiring ancient books. He has a rich collection of books. He was fond of collecting books when he was young. When he was old, he imitated Tianyige, a library in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. In 1832, he built jinzhulou, a library. He took the sentence from shuijingzhu · hehe: "there are mountains in Hebei Province. The lower rocks are steep and the bank is priceless. There are many stone chambers in the hanging rocks, and if there are volumes in the room, there will be many stone chambers. The rare person in the world is called jishuyan, because "learning from haijinliang, he will catch later generations with his obsession". It is not only a stone (building), but also the name of Jinzhuo. Because they love more books than paintings and calligraphy, they often buy ancient books from urban and rural areas with a lot of money, or even rent boats to search for books in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. They have a total collection of more than 100000 volumes, which is known as the wealth of book storage. Gan's "Jinzhuo building" is the first one. There is also a library called "Baoyi Zhai". There are 16 volumes of jinzhuolou bibliography and Zhu's preface. He has printed 22 volumes of "a brief introduction to the humanities of the Ming Dynasty in Dili" and the following one volume. His works include Zhong Xiulu, diary of Bao yizhai, etc. The latter generation, Gan Xu and others, jointly managed the collection of books.
