In 1998, Wu Xiangfei joined star Workshop International Entertainment Co., Ltd. as the planner of Feng Xiaogang's national promotion of the theme song "see you and see me".

In 1999, he published his first work: Luo Zhongxu's existence for love; in 2002, 24-year-old Wu Xiangfei wrote the theme song of the same name "subway to spring" and won the best lyricist of the year award in China's song ranking list; in 2003, he wrote the song "Sad Swing" for Jin Haixin and won the best lyricist of the year award in China's original general review list.
