Li Gong
Li Gong (1456-1516) was born in Wuhu County, Anhui Province. In the 20th year of Chenghua (1484), he was a Jinshi. He was appointed to the head of the household department and the promoted member wailang. He was also a member of the Ministry of calendar and punishment, a doctor, a deputy envoy of Shandong Province, an envoy of Fujian Province, and a right political envoy of Shaanxi Province.

He ordered that Jizhou and other places be reorganized, and Shuntian prefectures be patrolled, Tongzhou city be rebuilt, and various fortresses at Gubeikou be built. He was called to be the right servant of the Ministry of war and tried to go back to his hometown. He died on May 23, the eleventh year of Zhengde, at the age of 61.
