Ye Ziming
Ye Ziming (1935-2005), male, pen name Nancao, was born in Quanzhou, Fujian Province.
Ye Ziming joined the Communist Party of China in 1956. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Nanjing University in 1957. In 1959, he studied as a graduate student in the history of ancient Chinese literature in the Chinese Department of Nanjing University. He studied with Chen Zhongfan, one of the "three elders" in the Chinese Department of Nanjing University, and stayed in the Department to teach. He has successively served as a lecturer, assistant director, deputy director and director of the Chinese Department of Nanjing University He is vice chairman of the association, deputy director of the school affairs committee, member and convener of the Chinese section of the second, third and fourth disciplinary review group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, vice president of the Chinese Modern Literature Research Association, President of the Chinese Maodun Research Association, doctoral supervisor of Chinese modern and contemporary literature, and executive director of Jiangsu Branch of the China Writers Association. Ye Ziming specializes in modern literature and literary theory, especially in the study of Mao Dun. His works include on Mao Dun's 40 years of literature road, Mao Dun's Manping, etc. In 1981, Mr. Mao Dun died. As a domestic expert in Mao Dun research, ye Ziming initiated the compilation of complete works for Mao Dun. Since 1982, he began to preside over the work of complete works of Mao Dun.
Mr. Ye Ziming is a leader of Chinese modern and contemporary literature major in Nanjing University. His academic research focuses on the combination of historical materials, text analysis, historical grasp and theoretical sublimation. He has made outstanding achievements in the research of Chinese modern literature, especially in the field of Mao Dun.
