You mi Jian
You mi Jian (1899-1971), born in Taipei, Taiwan, is a famous politician in Taiwan. In his early years, he graduated from the National Language School of Taiwan Governor's office and the Department of politics and economics of Japan University. In 1941, he became a member of the Standing Committee of the Taiwan Revolutionary Alliance in Chongqing. He was captured by the Japanese army in Hong Kong and survived. After the restoration of Taiwan in 1945, he served as the Financial Commissioner of Taiwan. He became mayor of Taipei in 1946. In 1950, he was appointed the design committee member of the Executive Yuan. He died in Taiwan on December 12, 1971 at the age of 72.

In 1941, he became a member of the Standing Committee of the Taiwan Revolutionary Alliance in Chongqing. He was captured by the Japanese army in Hong Kong and survived. Later, he served as director of gauze Control Bureau and General Affairs Bureau of Ministry of finance, director of general radio station, and member of Taiwan Design Committee of central design bureau. After the restoration of Taiwan Financial District in 1945. In February 1946, Chen Yi, the chief executive, was appointed mayor of Taipei, and Wu Guozhen was appointed chairman of the provincial government. In 1946, he became mayor of Taipei, Professor of Taiwan University, chairman and President of Tamkang middle school, and then president of Taiwan Education Association. In 1946, you mi Jian, mayor of Taipei, set up the Taiwan Cultural Association, which consists of three departments: literature, music and fine arts. After his resignation was approved on February 5, 1950, he was employed as a professor of economics in Taiwan University. However, he still served as a representative of the national assembly and spared no effort to promote Taiwan tourism. Therefore, he is known as "the father of Taiwan tourism". He was appointed as design member of the Executive Yuan in 1950, and then transferred to the chairman of Taiwan Paper Co, the Central Committee of China's Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, chairman of Renji relief Hospital of Guoyu daily, chairman of Taiwan Red Cross Society, and President of Taiwan Tourism Association. He died in Taiwan on December 12, 1971 at the age of 72.
