Liang Henian
Liang Henian, Chinese Canadian, Dean and Professor, School of urban and regional planning, Queen's University of Canada. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong, China in 1970. He received a master's degree in urban planning from MIT in 1976, a master's degree in land economics from Cambridge University in 1982, and a doctor's degree in land development and management from reading university in 1985. He has published nearly 100 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, including more than 40 papers in urban planning since 1986. His monograph "concise land use planning" has been listed as a textbook for Canadian planning students. The "national public real estate senior officials forum", "corporate real estate senior seminar" and "ambassador forum" organized by him in Canada have extensive influence and academic appeal in Canada and the Asia Pacific region. In 2003, he was selected into Canadian celebrity. In addition to urban and regional planning, he also gives advice for China's development in science and technology, economy, resources and other aspects. In 2002, the State Council of China Awarded Mr. Liang Henian the National Friendship Award, the highest award for foreign experts.
