Main achievements
In the late 1920s, Chen ningqiu used to be his name when he was engaged in drama and film activities. In the mid-1930s, it took the name of "SEK" (abbreviation of "boersevik") and used it for life. His anti Japanese dramas, such as "thirty million refugees" and "iron flow", are the pioneering works of Anti Japanese literature and art. At the same time, he is a performing artist and a representative of the "experiential school" of contemporary Chinese performing art. He is also a painter and poet. His songs, such as "the song of saving the nation" and other famous composers, such as Xian Xinghai, Wang Luobin, he Lvting, had a far-reaching impact in the Anti Japanese war. He is a patriotic artist and liberalist. He is very idealistic and unwilling to be constrained. He went to Yan'an in pursuit of brightness, liberation and art. He dared to tell the truth, did not flatter, adhered to his independent personality, and maintained the self-esteem of an intellectual. He had been valued and trusted by Mao Zedong in Yan'an period. As early as the 1920s, he entered the early Chinese new literature as a young poet. Later, he worked as an actor in Shanghai Star Company, and as a leader and director in "Xindi drama club" and "lion roar drama club", contributing to the early film and drama art in China. He also translated Gorky's nightclub and the lyrics of many Soviet songs. At the same time, he is also an important Lyric writer of Chinese salvation songs and one of the flag bearers of the new music movement. The lyrics of the famous national salvation songs such as "National Salvation Army Song", "heart hate" and "Anti Japanese vanguard" are all in his hands. After 1935, he participated in the organization of the Chinese songwriters Association and the first national salvation performance team, and also participated in the all China Anti enemy Association of drama circles and the northwest battlefield service group. In 1938, SEK went to Yan'an Lu Xun Art Institute as a professor and directed the drama around September 18 and the imperial envoy. Later, he served as president of Yan'an Youth Art Theater, a senator of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region, and a member of the Cultural Work Committee of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region government. He also participated in the creation of production chorus and other large-scale works, among which the song "sour jujube thorn" cooperated with Xian Xinghai is particularly famous. From the end of the Anti Japanese War to 1949, he served as the director of the Federation of literary and art circles of Rehe Province, the director of Jiamusi branch of the all China Federation of literary and art circles, the deputy director of the Education Department of the northern Liaoning provincial government and the vice president of the northern Liaoning University, the president of the Northeast Lu Xun College of literature and art, and the president of the Northeast People's Art Theater. In 1953, he became the consultant of the Central Experimental opera house, and later became the consultant of the Chinese opera and dance theater. His life experience is rough, but he always adheres to the belief in light, the pursuit of truth, full of great love for the motherland and the people, fighting unremittingly with art as a weapon, and finally becomes an important proletarian artist. On November 18, 1988, SEK died in Beijing at the age of 82.
