Ping Xintao (1927-may 23, 2019), male, Han nationality, from Changshu, Jiangsu Province. Graduated from Shanghai Datong University. He edited the supplement of Lianhe Bao, founded crown magazine in 1954 and crown publishing house in 1965.

The husband of Taiwan writer Qiongyao was originally married to Lin Wanzhen. His works include "under the sky", and his translations include "strange swordsman of the field" and "cousin Li Qiu".

On May 23, 2019, Ping Xintao died surrounded by his relatives at the age of 92.
