Cheng Wu (the year of birth and death is unknown), the son of Cheng Yu, a counselor of Wei Taizu. During the Three Kingdoms period, Wei Chen inherited the title of Marquis of Anxiang, his father.
Biography
An overview of the romance
Wei joined the army. The son of Cheng Yu. During the northern expedition of Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu, Wei took Xia Hou Qi, the son-in-law of Wei, as his general and Wu as his army member. He was afraid of Zhao Yun, but he was not afraid of Zhao Yun. He divided his troops to ambush and lured the clouds deep into it. After that, Zhao Yun didn't listen to Deng Zhi's persuasion and went his own way, leading to Cheng Wu's ambush. Many battles have cost most. In this regard, Zhao Yun's image in the romance of the Three Kingdoms has been greatly tainted.
Historical chronology
In 220 AD, Cheng Yu died in the first year of Huangchu, Emperor Wen of Wei, and Cheng Wu succeeded him.

Romance plot
During Zhuge Liang's first northern expedition, the imperial court took xiahouzhen, the emperor's son-in-law, as the governor to fight against the enemy Shu soldiers, and met Zhao Yun, the vanguard of Shu army, in Fengming mountain.
