Profile

He is now the director of Chinese information society of China, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Language Society, and vice chairman of computational linguistics Committee of Chinese information society. He is also an international judge of the "Mobis" multimedia CD International Grand Prix in Paris.

Main achievements

He has presided over or participated in some important Chinese information processing projects, such as the key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the key scientific and technological projects of the sixth, seventh and eighth five year plan of China, the national Torch Program, and the national standard development project of Chinese information processing.
