Shen Wei, male, with the name of Youhuo, is from Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.

Qing Guangxu 20 years (AD 1894) Jinshi, granted Imperial Academy editor. Later, he was the chief examiner of Gansu Province and the academic administrator of Shaanxi Province. He was good at poetry and calligraphy. In his later years, he lived in Shanghai. He was famous in Jiangnan and was promoted as a giant of Hanyuan.
