Gong Pengcheng

Gong Pengcheng, a native of Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, was born in Taipei in 1956. He is a famous contemporary scholar and thinker.

He graduated from the Institute of Chinese Studies of Taiwan Normal University. He has successively served as the dean of the school of Arts of Tamkang University, the founding president of Nanhua University and Foguang University in Taiwan, and the president of Eurasia University in the United States. He has won Taiwan Zhongshan literature and Art Award, Zhongxing literature and Art Award, outstanding research award, etc. Since 2004, Professor of Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing Normal University. He is now a professor of Chinese Department of Peking University. In 2019, Mr. Gong Pengcheng became a full-time lecturer in the school of Arts of Shandong University.

He is the founding president of Nanhua University and Fokuang University in Taiwan. He is now the president of Eurasia University in Luxembourg and the (honorary) president of many schools in mainland China.
