Early experience

In 1955, Xi Meijuan was born into an ordinary worker's family in the suburbs of Shanghai. In 1973, Xi Meijuan graduated from middle school and went to work in the suburbs. A month later, Xi Meijuan was admitted to Shanghai Drama Academy. In 1977, Xi Meijuan was assigned to Shanghai People's Art Theater.

Acting experience

In 1988, the China Art Festival was held in Beijing. The Shanghai People's art show was "China dream". Xi Meijuan, as the heroine, won the plum blossom Award for Chinese drama.
