The road of literature
Wang Yuewen really began to study after he went to university. At first, he was fond of reading foreign literature works, such as Tolstoy, Balzac, Chekhov, Dostoevsky and Hemingway. Chekhov's plays, in particular, he loves to read. He likes the loneliness, pity and poetry in Chekhov's gulls, cherry orchard and uncle Vanya. He still remembers the last words of cherry orchard: "there is a sound coming from afar, from beyond infinity, like a broken string Then the sound of the axe cutting down trees came from the cherry orchard Cherry Orchard sold, cherry trees can only be cut down one by one. People are helpless in the face of fate, whether you struggle or not. Wang Yuewen has a special love for French literature. The French seem to be romantic and perceptual in nature, but their literature is very speculative. He loved to read the legend of the giant by Rabelais, and after many years, he encouraged his eight or nine year old son to read it. My son actually read it and kept pestering him to tell the story. Wang Yuewen likes Beckett and often recites his lines in waiting for Godot: "let's go, can't we? Why not. We're waiting for Godot. " But Godot will never come. He also liked Tournier. His novels Friday, the prison of Lingbo in the Pacific, and the alder King won him the Nobel Prize for literature, but he did not.
In Chinese classical literature, poetry is the most worth reading. Chinese classical poetry can be read all one's life. Poetry is not only empathic, but also mobile, making people pure and elegant. A person who makes a living by writing is usually embarrassed by language and conscious of being clumsy and blunt. Then read classical poetry. Maybe it will save your pen. Mr. Shen Congwen said that he could not find a sense of language. He read a few passages of the book of songs, which is the truth.
What Wang Yuewen doesn't read much is Chinese modern and contemporary literature, especially the contemporary literature. The modern Zhou brothers are the only ones who are interested in other things. When he was young, he worshipped Lu Xun and could recite many of his works, so that when he wrote, he unconsciously had his tone. Later, he gradually became close to Zhou Zuoren, and even his seemingly leisurely words were read with relish. I feel more and more that there should be no hatred in life, but compassion and tolerance.
Official writer
People in the literary world say I am an official, people in the officialdom say I am a writer, and in the fashionable words, I am a marginal person. Actually, I'm nothing but an embarrassed person.
Embarrassing people encounter embarrassing things. One snowy winter, I stayed in a hotel in a southern city all day, always up and down in the elevator. That winter, my mood is very gray, but others don't know. Since childhood, the dogma about men told me: men should be strong. So in the face of all kinds of helplessness, I am so strong. Sometimes I'm the only one left in the elevator. Looking at the shiny and cold aluminum alloy walls, I can't help shouting. Suddenly, the elevator door opened and the hotel hall was full of well-dressed men and women in heavy makeup. I immediately straightened my back and entered the respectable crowd with a serene expression. But I know in my heart that I don't belong here. The most sad thing about people is that they live in obscurity, but the most terrible thing is that they live too clearly. Later, I put this experience into the novel "Chinese painting". This is actually the state of mind that I have been living in the world for many years. It is in this embarrassing state of mind that I wrote some short stories and novels. Perhaps the most embarrassing thing is that when a person is in his thirties, he knows that many things in the world are not the same. I don't believe my ears for a long time, because I'm used to too many lies. I have tried to believe in my own eyes, but I often see hypocrisy and deception. Now I have to believe in my conscience. But will you cheat yourself one day? On that day, I would not write novels.
Novel and wise
Wang Yuewen's famous work is undoubtedly a novel Chinese painting with 500000 words. The name of "traditional Chinese painting" is still a puzzle for many people. First, it is associated with the quintessence of traditional Chinese painting, and then it boldly comes up with "insinuation". For traditional Chinese painting, different "classes" certainly have different opinions: Although the inner feelings of the top political figures can not be guessed, they can not praise it publicly at least, because Wang Yuewen is different from Zhang Ping and Zhou Meisen after all. It seems that there is no hero of "anti-corruption" in his works, let alone the curtain of "justice conquers evil". Maybe what he pays attention to It's just the "realism" around us, which is not in line with the mainstream consciousness. Some local high-ranking officials, such as Zhu Huaijing, the protagonist, and some small figures who are obsessed with profits and who are obsessed with the situation, may also have a sense of scratching their hearts after reading the traditional Chinese painting, especially some of Wang Yuewen's colleagues in the past are unavoidably "sitting in the right place"; it seems true when reading literary works You can't do without that kind of embellishment and rendering, just to grasp a certain degree.
Wang Yuewen, after all, is in a new era of relative democracy and openness in China. Because of this historical turning point and progress, he also obtained the qualification of university entrance examination, and he was "lucky" to enter the organs and transfer to the provincial capital in the future. However, he is not satisfied with the current situation, and his "gratitude" has not been able to prevent his new pursuit. Therefore, like Tan Sitong, Xu Teli, and Yang Xiaokai, he dares to go to university He is good at eating crabs. There is a proletarian revolutionist of the older generation who once said that "selfless in the bottom of his heart, broad in the world". I think that although Wang Yuewen ate a meal of pen and stick, he can fully apply this famous saying. Otherwise, his series of novels exposing the hypocrisy and darkness of "Officialdom" will be out of the question. As for the essence of Wang Yuewen's "Officialdom" novels, Zhang Ren, a famous literary critic, commented: "the images of officials described by Wang Yuewen are vivid and vivid, revealing that the officialdom is full of strife. Those who seek to be promoted are resourceful, those who are promoted are complacent, small civil servants look up to others, and those in power give orders. The atmosphere of officialdom that he wrote is very full, very real and in place. I seem to hear the fighting sound of fists and feet in the chatting and eating. There are indignation, indignation and ridicule in the novel. The atmosphere of officialdom is very strong and ends in officialdom. It's a bit of pity, a bit of helplessness. " Mr. Zhang Ren only commented on Wang Yuewen's "Officialdom" novels. In fact, Wang Yuewen also wrote non officialdom novels, which are equally wonderful. The famous critic Meng Huaxing once said: "Wang Yuewen is famous for his officialdom novels. In fact, his non officialdom novels are more profound. His understanding of sex and politics, and his vivid and true description of China's bottom life all illustrate that He is one of the most influential writers in China today. " Wang Yuewen is also a diligent writer. After traditional Chinese painting, spring and autumn of officialdom and officialdom without story.
Fantastic ideas
In the middle of the winter of 2001, his new novels "MEICI story" and "dead bird" were published. Later, he published "personnel story" and "between the day and the night". Although other books are more "thin" than traditional Chinese painting, there is no lack of new ideas and depth. Writing novels, especially officialdom novels, is Wang Yuewen's skill, which is well known. But far more than that, Wang Yuewen also made remarkable achievements in other literary genres. For example, his heavy historical theme TV play "longpiao" (in cooperation with Li yuesen, there is also a novel of the same name) came out. Wang Yuewen said: "leisurely"
