Kanazawa City is located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The largest city in Beilu (excluding Niigata) is also the seat of Shichuan county.
Kanazawa City is located in the Kanazawa plain on the sea side of Japan, just in the middle of the north land. In the period of Antu Taoshan, after the change of instinct temple, Qiantian Lijia moved to Jinze city and developed. In the Edo era, because it was the highest granted one million stone, the town of Kaga fan, known as "Kaga million stone", was the fourth largest city in Japan at that time, with a population of more than 100000, only second to Edo, Osaka and Kyoto.
Since the Meiji Restoration, due to the development of industrialization, the gentry and merchants moved out, resulting in a decrease in population. With the rapid development of the port city on the Pacific side, Kanazawa is only a medium-sized local city in Modern Japan.
It is a port city on the coast of the sea of Japan in the north central part of Honshu, the capital of Ishikawa Prefecture, and the largest city in the north land. It is located at the junction of foothills and Jinze plain. The population is 418000 (1986). It rose after the seventies of the sixteenth century. The city was established in 1889. The main industries are machinery (mostly textile machines) and textile, followed by food and metal products. Early development of silk and traditional arts and crafts, lacquerware, carpentry, etc. are still famous. The port can accommodate 15000 DWT ships. There are institutions of higher learning such as Kanazawa University. Scenic spots and historic sites include the former site of Kanazawa City, and six gardens (the Kaiyuan garden in Shuihu and the Houyuan garden in Okayama are collectively known as the three famous gardens in Japan).
Kanazawa, the capital of Ishikawa Ken, Japan, is the largest city in the northern land region, with a population of about 450000. The Maeda family has ruled the city for three centuries since its first ruler, the Maeda family, came to power in 1583.
Due to the moderate rainy weather and abundant snowfall in winter, Jinze's special products such as rice, rice wine and sweets are famous all over the world.
Jinze is surrounded by Baishan National Park and nengdeng Peninsula National Park. Two rivers run through the city. Xichuan is said to be a lively river for men, while Asano is a tender river for women. Such beautiful natural scenery makes the whole city full of poetic.
Because many artists and craftsmen have been invited here by the gahe family, the handicraft level here has reached a very high level, and it is still thriving to this day.
The colorful jiugu pottery, the simple Dazhi pottery, the elegant Jinze lacquerware, the splendid Jinze, the unique Jinze Tung wood craft, the special hand-painted Jiahe youchan silk, the Jiahe elephant inlay, the Jiahe embroidery, the Jiahe Yufei, the colored knot, and the Jinze altar are all the specialties of Jinze.
Today, these traditional buildings stand quietly in the city. They are integrated into the modern atmosphere of Jinze, thus creating a charming classical town.
Kanazawa is located in the middle of Honshu, Japan, near the sea of Japan. The latitude is the same as that of Qingdao, Shandong Province, China.
It takes about 1 hour to get to Kanazawa by air from Tokyo. Since the opening of the Beilu Shinkansen on March 14, 2015, the time from Tokyo to Kanazawa by Shinkansen has been shortened to 2 hours and 32 minutes. If you go to Kanazawa from Osaka, it's only two and a half hours by express train. Kanazawa is relatively close to the main cities in Japan, with convenient transportation. The city is located between the plain and the hills, sandwiched between the two clear rivers of Xichuan and Asano, which moisten people's lives and decorate the city's landscape.
Kanazawa's name originated from such a story: a farmer named taro tungteng Wulang made a living by digging potatoes. He washed all the gold sand on the potatoes into a well, now known as Jincheng Lingze, so the place was named Jinze, which means "golden swamp".
About 500 years ago, religious believers established a religious government in "Jinze Yufang", which later became the location of Jinze city.
The temple was destroyed in 1580 by an army led by Nobuta Zhitian. One of his family ministers, Maeda Rijia, entered Kanazawa in 1583. He built a castle to replace the destroyed temple and ruled the place as Daming (the largest fiefdom in Japan). He is famous for his million stone rice (one stone equals five bushels (capacity equals eight gallons)). Maeda especially encouraged the development of Arts and crafts, which made Kanazawa a cultural center similar to Tokyo (later known as EDO) and Kyoto.
Since the Meiji Restoration in 1868, Jinze has become the capital of Shichuan county. By this time, Kanazawa was prosperous and became the center of political, economic, educational and cultural activities in northern China.
The average temperature of Jinze city is as follows:
The average temperature in spring is 10-15 degrees centigrade
The average temperature in summer is 25-30 degrees
The average temperature in autumn is 15-20 degrees
The average temperature in winter is 4-8 degrees, and the change in four seasons is very obvious.
Cherry blossom is in full bloom everywhere. In fact, it is spring from mid March to last May in the city. After the cherry blossoms withered, the mountains began to put on new green, the grass rose and fell one after another, and the season of renewal came.
Like Tokyo, the sultry weather in Kanazawa in summer will last for a long time. In autumn, after the middle of October, the temperature began to drop sharply to an average of 10-15 degrees centigrade. At the beginning of November, the trees in the mountains began to be dyed red. It's time to watch the red leaves. At this time of year, in jianliu garden near the center of Jinze, we can see the operation of hanging branches to prevent trees from being broken by heavy snow, and the residents are also planning to spend the winter. This scene is often seen in the introduction of winter scenery by major Japanese media.
The snow season is from December to the end of March every year. The city and the mountains are covered with snow. Different from other seasons, winter Kanazawa shows a kind of dreamy beauty. Heavy snow has also brought inconvenience to people's lives, roads have been blocked, and there are many days of traffic jams and walking difficulties.
History of Kanazawa
Jinzecheng was first formed in 1546. On the present site of Jinze City, Weishan imperial square of Benyuan temple was built. As a branch of Japanese Buddhism, the disciples of zongzong took this place as their base to preach. They ruled the Kaga area for more than 100 years in the form of the unity of politics and religion, and formed towns near the temple gate.
Kanazawa emerged as a city in 1583. Shinchang Zhitian's Ministry, Maeda Lijia, came into Kanazawa from the small marushan city in Qiwei, ruled Jiahe, Yuezhong and nengdeng, and began to establish the town of Chengxia in Kanazawa.
The city walls and moats were built; the samurai houses were built around the city; the dead alleys, detours and T-shaped roads were designed in the road planning to strengthen the city defense; the merchants were called to live. Jinzecheng began to take shape. When the Qiantian family passed down to the third generation, Chengxia town was completed, and then the territory gradually increased. In the Edo era under the Tokugawa shogunate, the former Tian family was always the most famous family with a million stone salary. Before the Meiji Restoration, there were 14 generations of vassal lords in Tianjia, who lived in Jinze city and Jiahe area for 290 years.
For the Tokugawa Shogunate as the central government, the powerful financial support of Kaga fan has always been a potential threat to the stability of the shogunate regime. In order to prevent the Kaga vassal from plotting rebellion, the shogunate constantly checked the Kaga vassal's actions.
The former Tian family members were also afraid of the withdrawal of the shogunate, and the Tianshou Pavilion in Kanazawa City was burned down and no longer rebuilt or expanded its armaments. In order to show the shogunate that they had no second intention, they always took a submissive attitude.
The second generation of vassal chieftain Qian Tianli sent his mother to live in Edo city (actually as a hostage). Since then, every generation of vassal chieftain's main room has married the women of the Tokugawa family and so on. That's why.
The less expenditure on armaments enriched the Treasury of Jiahe vassal. The vassal owners of Jiahe vassal used their financial resources to develop cultural undertakings, and cultivated Jiahe youchan, jiugu porcelain, Jinze lacquerware, Jiahe gold painting, Jiahe inlay, gold foil processing and other arts and crafts, as well as Neng Le, tea ceremony, cuisine and other living cultures. Today's colorful Jinze traditional crafts have been formed.
There are many other reasons why jinzecheng has left behind many ancient buildings, old streets and the crystallization of traditional culture, as well as the fact that there were no air raids during the Second World War and many people inherited and carried forward the traditional culture.
So far, Jinze has established friendly and cooperative relations with seven foreign cities, namely, bafalo City, Irkutsk, Bodo Arig, Ghent, Nancy, Suzhou and Quanzhou.
There are many tourist attractions in Jinze City, and the most famous one is jianliuyuan. Located near the center of the city, with an area of 110000 square meters, the park has set up ponds, fountains, waterfalls, streams and other landscapes, planted trees such as pine, maple, plum, cherry, orchid, chrysanthemum, swallow flower, lawn and other flowers, plus pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions and other buildings, which is a return garden. It is as famous as Okayama's Houyuan and Shuihu's Kaiyuan, and is known as Japan's "three famous gardens". Designated as a special scenic spot by the Japanese government.
The garden was first built in 1673-1681 under the reign of the fifth generation of vassal chieftain Maeda Gangji. It took four generations and about 170 years for the ninth generation of Lord Shida to build what it is today. The name of jianliuyuan comes from the famous gardens in Luoyang written by Li Gefei, a poet of Song Dynasty. The shogunate's old Nakasone Pingxin believes that this garden has the conditions of "grand, profound, human, ancient, water spring, overlooking" proposed by Li Gefei, so it is named jianliu garden. From plum blossom in early spring to hanging branches of pine in severe winter, there are not only different natural scenery in four seasons, but also the ingenuity of garden art. It can be called a famous garden!
