Sun Shucheng

Sun Shucheng (1902-1927) graduated from the first phase of Huangpu Military Academy. He was born in Tongshan, Jiangsu Province. His father has a land of 100 mu. He graduated from Tongshan County primary school, Jiangsu Provincial No.10 middle school for one year, and Tongshan normal school.

First phase students of Huangpu Military Academy

In August 1923, Gu Ziyang (president of Xuzhou middle school and President of Tongshan County Education) introduced him to join the Kuomintang. In the spring of 1924, he was recommended by Liu Yunzhao (both representatives of Jiangsu Province attending the first National Congress of the Kuomintang) to apply for the Huangpu Military Academy. In May of the same year, he went to Guangzhou to study in the second team of the first phase of the Huangpu Military Academy. After graduation, he successively served as the adjunct of the third and fourth phase of the infantry brigade of the Huangpu Military Academy, the deputy commander and party representative of the Sixth Battalion of the second regiment, and the officer training brigade of the 24th division of the 11th army of the national revolutionary army Long.

In August 1927, he joined the Nanchang Uprising and served as the head of the 72nd regiment of the 24th division. He died in the battle of sanheba in Dapu in October 1927.
