Yu Wenshan

Yuwenshan (August 1, 573 to July 9, 581), formerly known as yuwenyan, was born in Chang'an County, Jingzhao county (now Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province), and was the last emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. The eldest son of Emperor Xuan of Zhou, Yu Wenfu, and his mother, Zhu manyue, the queen of heaven.

In the first year of Dacheng (579), he was granted the title of king of Lu. In February, he accepted the throne of his father and was named elephant. He took Yang Jian, the Duke of suiguo, as the assistant minister and worshipped as the prime minister. In the first year of Dading (581), Yang Jian was forced to abdicate as the prime minister, which led to the demise of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and he was granted the title of Duke of Jie.

Kaihuang first year (581), died, only nine years old, posthumous title Jing emperor, buried in Gongling.

Life of the characters

Early experience

Yuwenshan, whose original name was yuwenyan, was the eldest son of Emperor Xuan of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. His mother was Zhu manyue, the queen of heaven.

In June of the second year of Jiande (573), Yu Wencheng was born in the East Palace of Chang'an city.

On the 11th of the first month of the first year of Dacheng (579), he was granted the title of king of Lu. On the 16th of the first month, he became the crown prince.

Ascend to the throne as Emperor

On February 19, the first year of Dacheng (579), Emperor Xuan of the Northern Zhou Dynasty passed the throne to Yu Wenshan in Ye palace. Yu Wenshan ascended the throne and changed the Yuan Dynasty to elephant. He was seven years old. In July of the same year, Sima LINGJI, the daughter of Ma Xiaonan, was queen.

On May 11, the second year of Xiangxiang (580), Emperor Xuan was seriously ill and ordered emperor Jing to enter the school of suru. On May 25, Emperor Xuan died at the age of 22. Emperor Jing entered Tiantai and abandoned Zhengyang palace. The construction of Luoyang palace was stopped. On May 26, Empress Dowager ashner was honored as empress dowager, Empress Dowager Li Ezi as empress dowager, Empress Dowager Yang Lihua as empress dowager, and Empress Dowager Zhu manyue as empress dowager. Chen Yueyi, Empress of Tianzhong, yuan leshang, Empress of Tianyou, and Wei Chi, Empress of Tianzuo, became nuns. Zhu state and Han Dynasty Wang yuwenzan were appointed prime ministers of Shangzhu state and Youda, Shangzhu state, Yangzhou general manager and suiguo Duke Yang Jian were appointed prime ministers of Feihuang Yue and Zuoda, and Zhu state and Qin king yuwenzhi were appointed prime ministers of Shangzhu state. When Emperor Jing mourned, all the officials were under the orders of Prime Minister Yang Jian.

Yang Jian

On February 13, the first year of Dading (581), Emperor Yuwen chanrang was located in Yangjian, another palace. Yang Jian ascended the throne, the Sui Dynasty was established, and the Northern Zhou Dynasty perished. Yang Jian descended to Yuwen and explained that he was the Duke of Jieguo, eating 10000 households in the city. His chariots, clothes, rites and music were still in accordance with the old system of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. Although there are such provisions, they have not been implemented.

Killed in childhood

In 581, the first year of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, Yang Jian secretly sent someone to kill Yu Wencheng. Yu Wenxuan was nine years old.

After Yuwen's death, Yang Jian pretended to be shocked, released the news of his death, and ceremoniously mourned. He was posthumously named emperor Jing and was buried in Gongling, where his clan yuwenluo was consecrated to Zhou Dynasty.

Although he returned to min'e, it turned into the power of the mausoleum; Zhang Fuqin, the king, could not save Zongzhou's death. Whoo! With the Sutra of Taizu (yuwentai) as the example, qihongji and the clone industry of Gaozu (yuwenyong) did not go beyond the second period. It's not the grudges of a young man to bring disaster to Emperor gaixuan. "

Li Yanshou's "northern history" said: "the static emperor Yue Chong since childhood, Shaozi decline."

Commemoration of later generations

Gongling Mausoleum of the Northern Zhou Dynasty is the mausoleum of yuwenshan, the last emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. On July 10, the first year of kaihuang (581), Yang Jian killed him. He was only 9 years old. According to the book of Zhou compiled by Ling Hu De, Emperor Jing of the Northern Zhou Dynasty was buried in Gong mausoleum by Yang Jian.

There is only one large mound in Gongling today. In June 1992, the people's Government of Weicheng District of Xianyang city set up the "Gong mausoleum" protection monument beside the mound.
