Lu Hongtao
Lu Hongtao (1866-1927), named Xiancha, is a native of Tongshan, Jiangsu Province. He is a general of the Northern Warlords. He graduated from the artillery division of Tianjin military school, and is a classmate with Duan Qirui and Wang Zhanyuan. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, he served as the commander of the new army in Gansu Province, and successively served as the first standard, the first battalion management belt, the first standard, the first standard, and the commander in chief of Liangzhou town of Gansu standing army. In 1913, he served as the garrison envoy of Longdong, and in 1921, he served as the governor of Gansu, and participated in the hunting and killing of revolutionaries. In 1924, the commander of the first division (temporary) of Gansu army concurrently served as the governor of Gansu Province, and resigned in 1925. First it belongs to Anhui lineage, then it belongs to direct lineage. He died in Tianjin on August 31, 1927.

Life of the characters
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Gansu organized and trained the new army, but only formed a mixed association under the jurisdiction of three standards. Lu Hongtao successively served as the commander of Gansu new army, the first standard of Gansu standing army, the first battalion management belt, and the first standard of Gansu standing army. After the outbreak of the revolution of 1911, Chang Geng, governor of the Qing Dynasty, Shaanxi and Gansu Province, who was stationed in Lanzhou, reorganized the Gansu garrison on a large scale, and Lu Hongtao, the first bid of the association, was reorganized as the Zhenwu army. After the completion of the reorganization, Shengyun led the army to attack the Shaanxi people's army, with Lu Hongtao's Zhenwu army as the vanguard. After the army entered Shaanxi, it launched a fierce battle with Zhang Yunshan's army in Changwu, and the people's army was quite invincible. However, when the news of the abdication of the Qing emperor came, Lu Hongtao and others went back to Gansu. In May 1913, Lu Hongtao served as the commander in chief of Liangzhou town. In March 1914, Zhang Guangjian was in charge of the revolution, and Lu Hongtao tried his best to work. In March 1915, Lu Hongtao was appointed as the garrison envoy of Longdong by Zhang Guangjian. He went out of 17 counties of Pingliang and supported 48 soldiers, becoming a powerful faction of Gansu. In 1921, Zhang Guangjian was driven away by Ma Fuxiang and others. The Beijing government appointed Cai Chengxun, the former governor of Suiyuan, as the governor of Gansu Province. Before taking office, Lu Hongtao took care of the former governor of Gansu Province. Lu Hongtao secretly organized all walks of life in Lanzhou to hold a demonstration. The oil company, through a cable, was willing to oppose "Cai tiger" all over the country. In May 1921, the Beijing government appointed Cai Chengxun as the governor of Jiangxi Province. Lu Hongtao continued to care for the army of Gansu and Suzhou. In 1922, Lu Hongtao was officially appointed as the governor of Gansu Province. In 1924, after Lu Hongtao was in charge of Gansu Province, he organized the troops directly under the provincial government into the first division of Gansu army. As his own basic force, he was also the division commander, and Wei Hongfa was the commander of Mou. He had two brigades under his command. The brigades commander Huang Degui and Li Changqing were both born as Ma Bian of Lu Hongtao. In July of the same year, he was granted the title of general suwu. In March 1924, Lu Hongtao was concurrently governor of Gansu Province. In January 1925, the governor was abolished and replaced by the military affairs supervisor of Gansu Province. In March 1925, Lu Hongtao suffered a stroke and was bedridden. Li Changqing secretly contacted Zhang zhaok, the garrison envoy of Longdong. After reaching an alliance of attack and defense, Li Changqing, together with Bao Yuxiang, the leader of his confidant, threatened Lu Hongtao to hand over his power. When Lu Hongtao was ill, seeing the defection of his trusted subordinates, he was disheartened and even called the Beijing government to resign. Beijing appointed Feng Yuxiang to supervise the northwest frontier defense and Gansu military affairs. Feng Yuxiang served as Liu Yufen's deputy governor of Gansu Province and led his army to Gansu Province. Lu Hongtao left Gansu Province, which he ruled for five years, and went to Tianjin to work as an apartment. On August 31, 1927, Lu Hongtao died in Tianjin at the age of 61.
