Life of the characters
Zhuge Shang, a native of Yangdu, Langya (now Yinan County, Shandong Province), was a general of the Shu Han Dynasty. He was born in February 244 and died in November 263. He was the grandson of Zhuge Liang and the eldest son of Zhuge Zhan.
In the winter of the sixth year of Jingyao (263), when Deng AI invaded Sichuan and led his troops from Jiangyou to the south, zhugezhan fought against Deng AI in Mianzhu. As the vanguard of the Shu Han Army, he fought with his father zhugezhan. He fought against the enemy twice and bravely. He fought against Deng Zhong and shizuan alone. Later, his father committed suicide.
Zhuge Shang sighed and said, "my father and son have been greatly favored by the state. We can't kill Huang Hao as soon as possible, so that the state will be humiliated and the people will suffer. That's what led to today's failure. What are we doing alive?" So Zhuge Shang rushed into the Wei army and died. Shang led the army in a bloody battle and was outnumbered.

Historical evaluation
Chen Shichong: "Zhan and sun Shang, the sons of Kong Ming, died in the war; Zun, the grandson of Zhang Fei, and Guang, the second son of Zhao Yun, also died in the war. Wang Chen of Peiping cried in zhaolie temple and killed his wife first, but he committed suicide. In Wei Dynasty, people from Shu palace gave him to soldiers, and Li Zhaoyi did not insult himself. Zen is not particularly ashamed of the soldiers, but also ashamed of the women
Sun Qifeng: "in the death of Shu, the Yi people after Guan clan were annihilated by Pang bandits. Wang Chen, marquis Wu Zizhan, sun Shang, Zhang Fei, sun Zun, Zhao yunziguang, Fu tongzijin and Li Hui's nephew Qiu are all worthy of their forerunners. "
Luo Guanzhong said: "Heaven intends to destroy Liu, and the Han Dynasty is over here. All the descendants of Zhuge died, and all the ministers in Chengdu were worried. "
Li Yu: "ZHUGE still asks his father three times, but his father wakes up. It can be said that he has a son, but he has no son."
Zhong Jingbo: "ZHUGE is loyal to his youth, loyal to his minister, filial to his son, and kind to his son. He goes beyond his father and ancestors. It can be seen that Kongming is underground."
Mao Zonggang: "zhugezhan father and son were ordered to repay the country with one death after the event. The gentleman said: Marquis Wu would never die. The heart of Mianzhu, who died in the war, is also the heart of the five Zhangyuan in the autumn wind. If Wei had been exhausted, he would not have been willing to die? Therefore, if you look forward to the future and still die, then the Marquis Wu will survive. "

(Zhuge Liang attached to the biography of Zhuge Zhan)... (Zhuge) Zhan's eldest son, Shang, was not with Zhan. Gan Bao said: Although wisdom is not enough to support danger, courage is not enough to resist the enemy, but can not fail the country outside, not change the father's will inside, loyalty and filial piety exist. Huayang annals said: Shang Tan said, "father and son, the state of he is very kind. He didn't kill Huang Hao early, so he was defeated. What's the use of life for! He rushed to the Wei army and died.
Main impact
For Zhuge Liang, a Chinese idol, the romance of the Three Kingdoms seldom mentions his family and descendants. It seems that he is a superman who does not eat fireworks. In today's Wuhou temples all over the country, in addition to Zhuge Liang sitting in the middle of the main hall, there are statues of his son Zhuge Zhan and grandson Zhuge Shang on both sides of him. Zhuge Liang married Huang in Longzhong and had no children of his own for nearly 30 years. During this period, Zhuge Liang adopted Zhuge Qiao, the second son of his elder brother Zhuge Jin, as his son. Zhuge Qiao died at the age of 25. His son zhugepan served as a general of Yi in Shu. Later, Zhuge Liang's eldest brother Zhuge Jin's family was beheaded in the eastern Wu Dynasty, and Zhuge pan became Zhuge Jin's descendants again to pass on the incense. When Zhuge Liang was 46 years old, his own son Zhuge Zhan was born.
According to historical records, Zhuge Zhan was only eight years old when Zhuge Liang died. But he was smart and lovely since childhood, good at painting and calligraphy, and has a strong memory. When he grew up, he started as a low-level officer and was promoted to the military general his father once served as. It is said that as long as there is anything that conforms to the public opinion in the Shu imperial court, although it is not Zhuge Zhan's, the people rush to tell each other that Zhuge Liang's son did it. Later, Zhuge zhanguan to Wei general, once in charge of the Shu Dynasty. When Deng AI, the great general of Wei, attacked Shu, Zhuge Zhan led his army to resist and died in Mianzhu. His son at the time
Zhuge Shang
At the age of 17, he also died in the war. When zhugezhan died, his second son zhugejing was still very young, not old enough to fight in the army, so he survived. After the unification of the Three Kingdoms in Jin Dynasty, zhugejing was moved to the Central Plains by the new court and recruited as an official. Zhugejing served as the county magistrate of Meixian County, and managed it well. In those days, his grandfather Zhuge Liang tried to attack Meixian many times, but he failed. Unexpectedly, history played a little joke on him, making his grandson, whom he had never met, the magistrate here.
Zhuge Jin, Zhuge Liang's elder brother, took part in the eastern Wu Dynasty in his early years, which was highly valued by Sun Quan. Later, he became a senior general in the army. His eldest son, Zhuge Ke, was even more outstanding. He left power in the state of Wu and later died in a coup. The Zhuge family in the state of Wu was killed. Zhuge birthday, Zhuge Liang's cousin, had long followed Cao Cao and served as a first-class official in the state of Wei. Later, he was attacked by Sima's family, and all his family were killed. In this way, in addition to the Zhuge family in their hometown of Langya, Shandong Province, Zhuge Jing, Zhuge Liang's grandson, is the only survivor recorded in history books. After serving as the magistrate of Meixian County, zhugejing continued to be promoted, and finally became the governor of Jiangzhou. Since then, there have been no records of zhugejing's descendants in history books.
So, does Zhuge Liang have lineal descendants to pass on to this day? At present, there are a group of people surnamed Zhuge in Linyi of Shandong Province and Lanxi of Zhejiang Province. They all have their own genealogy, recording the origin of Zhuge Liang and Zhuge Jin. In Zhejiang, the descendants of Zhuge are almost all over the province. But it is said that they all originated in Zhuge village, Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province.
Since the Ming Dynasty, the Zhuge people in Lanxi mainly engaged in traditional Chinese medicine. It is said that this is adhering to the ancestral motto of "if you are not a good prime minister, you are a good doctor.". Later, they gradually grew in this industry. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, Zhuge people opened their traditional Chinese Medicine pharmacies to all parts of Zhejiang Province, and even to major cities in the country, forming a commercial Gang called "Lanxi medicine Gang", which flourished for a time. At the same time, it also created many gorgeous and exquisite residential buildings in Zhuge village today. After the Republic of China, the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Lanxi declined gradually. At present, Zhuge village is mainly tourism.
