Huang Baowu
Huang Baowu (1880-1968), a native of Changle, Fujian Province, lived in Shanghai for a long time.
Life of the characters
Graduated from Shanghai law and politics school, he has successively served as the director of the first Fujian Provincial Library, Professor of Shanghai Academy of fine arts, and Commercial Press. He is good at mountains and rivers, and likes Ni Zan's brushwork. Calligraphy is good at Li style, which is based on Han stele. Huang Baowu mostly painted landscapes, and occasionally flowers were light.
