Wu qinlie

Wu qinlie (1896-1966), named Jingzhi, was born in loucao, Xiyan Township, Zhuji. He has successively served as a member of Taiwan's "ordnance industry committee", "production and business management committee", "counsellor of the Executive Yuan's Committee on the use of us aid" and "director of the production department of the joint logistics headquarters".

Wu qinlie (1896-1966), named Jingzhi, was born in loucao, Xiyan Township, Zhuji. At the age of 12, he took the boy's exam, then went to Hangzhou government middle school, and after graduation, he went to Zhejiang University. In 1914, he went to the U.S. to study in chemical engineering at MIT and got a bachelor's degree. Then he went to Graduate School of the University of Chicago and got a master's degree in chemistry. He was appointed chemist of ander explosives company. In 2009, he returned to China and served as professor and director of chemical engineering in Zhejiang public industrial school. In the past 14 years, he went to Germany for further study in Weilian Institute of fiber chemistry. The next year, he returned to China as a research member of the major general of the Department of ordnance industry of the Ministry of military affairs of the national government. He was ordered to set up the Institute of physics and chemistry and prepare to build a smokeless powder factory. In the spring of 21, he was ordered to go to Europe and America to investigate the defense chemical industry. In May, he arrived in Washington, USA to order the machinery for the chemical plant, then transferred to Europe and returned to China in November. In July, 2002, he was the acting director of the Institute of physics and chemistry of ordnance industry and director of the chemical Preparatory Office of Gongxian County. In July 23, the Institute of physics and chemistry was transformed into the Department of technology of the Ministry of physics and chemistry, and served as the director of the Department. In February, he was the director of Gongxian chemical factory. Later, the factory was changed into the 23rd ordnance factory and still served as the factory director. For 27 years, he also served as the director of the Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Ministry of military affairs. In 2004, he served as deputy director of the Sixth Department of the Ministry of national defense. After going to Taiwan, he was appointed to supervise the research on the development of ordnance industry. He has successively served as a member of Taiwan's "ordnance industry committee", "a member of the production and business management committee", "a counsellor of the American aid Utilization Committee of the Executive Yuan" and "director of the production department of the joint logistics headquarters". In 1959, he retired the director general. He died on December 12, 1966.
