Zhou zuhuang

Zhou zuhuang (1891-1959), whose name is Jingsheng, is a general. He is from Sutang village, Dutou, Lingui County, Guangxi. In his early years, he was admitted to Guilin Army primary school. Later, he was promoted to Wuchang army middle school and Baoding army officer school. After graduation, he served as company commander and battalion commander in He Jian and Tang Shengzhi of Hunan army.

He took part in the northern expedition in 1925. In 1926 (the 15th year of the Republic of China), he served as the head of the 16th regiment of the eighth brigade of the seventh army of the national revolutionary army. In 1929 (eighteen years in Republic of China), the brigade commander of the twenty-nine brigade was transferred to the fifteen division, deputy teacher and forty-three brigade commander. In 1932 (the 21st year of the Republic of China), he was transferred from Baise to Guilin for training and served as the commander of Guilin militia. In 1934 (23 years of the Republic of China), he served as the commander of the 19th division of the seventh army, and led the army to take part in the encirclement of the Long March Red Army. In 1936 (the 25th year of the Republic of China), he served as deputy commander of the seventh army.

Character experience

In 1925, he took part in the northern expedition. In 15 years, he was the head of the 16th regiment of the 8th brigade of the 7th army of the national revolutionary army. In 18 years, he became the 29 brigade brigade commander of the 1 Division, and later transferred to the 15 division, deputy teacher and brigade commander 43. In 1932, he was transferred from Baise to Guilin for training and served as commander of Guilin militia. In 1934, he served as the commander of the 19th division of the 7th army, and led the army to take part in the encirclement of the Long March Red Army. In 1936, he served as deputy commander of the 7th army.

In October of the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), after the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, he served as commander in chief of the 7th army, led the army north to resist Japan, and participated in the battles of Songhu, Xuzhou, and Taierzhuang. He was known as the "old general of the Guangxi Department". In the spring of 28, he served as commander in chief of the 46th army, and soon became deputy commander in chief of the 16th group army.

In the autumn of 30 years, he served as the General Commander of Wuming, Baise and Tianbao regiments. In the winter of 31, he was transferred to the Deputy General Commander of the general headquarters of Guangdong Guangxi border region.

After the Anti Japanese War, he was unwilling to take part in the civil war and retired to his hometown in August 1946.

From August to September in 1949, he was appointed deputy director of Guilin appeasement office, member of Guangxi provincial government of KMT and head of military and political supervision group. In October, he served as commander of the KMT Guangxi North Guangxi military and administrative region and commander of the 13 armed forces, commanding 14 counties, 3 divisions and 1 independent regiment in two administrative regions. In the early morning of November 22, he led the troops to leave Guilin for Baishou, leaving the colonel to consult. Long Jianyun contacted the people's Liberation Army in Guilin and ordered the police station to leave a squadron to maintain order in the city. After contacting the PLA on November 29, Huo Guannan, deputy commander and chief of staff, was sent to Guilin for negotiation. On December 13, he signed a "peaceful settlement" with Li Tianyou, a PLA representative and deputy commander of the 13th Corps. On the same day, Zhou zuhuang led his troops from Baishou (now Yongfu county) to Liangjiang town in Lingui county to accept the reorganization of the PLA. By December 28, nearly 5000 officers and soldiers of Zhou zuhuang's troops had been reorganized. Later, he sent a telegram to all parts of the province, hoping that KMT officers and soldiers in Guangxi would lay down their arms and turn to the light.

In his later years

After the founding of new China, Zhou zuhuang served as a member of the Guangxi People's government, director of the provincial Counselor's office, and member of the Standing Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of the autonomous region.

He died in Nanning in 1959.

Born on January 1, 1891 (November 14, 1891). Lingui people in Guangxi, the word Jingsheng. He graduated from the first cavalry section of Baoding military academy.

In November 1914, after graduating from the military academy, he was assigned as a second lieutenant trainee of the 1st Regiment (commander Ma Wei) of the 3rd Brigade (brigade commander Lu Yuguang) of the 2nd Division (division commander Tan Haoming) of Guangxi army.

In May 1916, he took the post of lieutenant platoon leader of the 2nd division of Hunan army (division commander Zhao hengti).

Since August 1917, he has successively served as Lieutenant platoon commander and company commander of the 3rd Regiment (commander song Hegeng) of the 2nd Brigade (brigade commander Lin xiuhai) of the 1st Division (division commander Zhao hengti) of Hunan army.

In November 1920, he was promoted to major commander of Engineering Battalion of the first division of Hunan army (division commander song Hegeng).

In September 1924, he served as the deputy commander of commander Li Zongren of Dinggui anti thief coalition. In November, he was promoted to chief of the adjutant section of the appeasement Supervision Office of Guangxi Province (Li Zongren).

In March 1926, he was promoted to head of the 16th regiment of the 8th Brigade (brigade commander Zhong Zupei) of the 7th Army (commander Li Zongren) of the national revolutionary army.

In February 1927, the headquarters was renamed the 16th regiment of the 3rd Division (division commander Zhong Zupei) of the 7th army, and was still the head of the colonel. In September, he was promoted to major general and deputy division commander of the 1st Division (division commander Li Mingrui) of the 7th army.

In February 1928, the first division was renamed as the 33rd division (division commander Li Mingrui) and still served as the deputy division commander of major general. In September, the 33rd division was reorganized into the 4th Brigade (brigade commander Li Mingrui) of the 2nd Division (division commander Xia Wei) of the 4th group army, and was demoted to the post of major general and Deputy brigade commander. In October, the 4th Brigade was temporarily renamed as the 43rd Brigade (brigade commander Li Mingrui) of the 15th division (division commander Xia Wei), and still served as the Deputy brigade commander of major general. On November 19, he was promoted to lieutenant general Liao Lei of the 10th division (division commander) and deputy division commander of the 29th Brigade (under the jurisdiction of the third regiment) of the 4th group army.

On January 20, 1929, the headquarters was renamed the 158th brigade of the 53rd division (division commander Liao Lei), which still served as the vice division commander and brigade commander. In March, the 158th brigade was reorganized into the 43rd Brigade (under the jurisdiction of two regiments) of the 15th division (division commander Li Mingrui), and still serves as the vice commander and commander of the 43rd brigade. After resigning in September, he lived in Guilin.

In October 1930, he became the commander of the first civilian regiment of Guangxi (Guilin District).

In December 1931, he was transferred to the chief of staff of the 7th Army (commander Liao Lei).

In March 1932, he was transferred to the 19th division (under the jurisdiction of the third regiment).

On January 29, 1936, he assumed the post of major general. In June, he was promoted to lieutenant general and deputy commander of the 7th army and division commander of the 19th division. In September, he resigned as a part-time teacher.

On January 1, 1937, he was awarded the third class Yunhui medal. On March 13, Jin served as Lieutenant General of the army. On October 19, he was promoted to lieutenant general of the 7th Army (under the jurisdiction of the 170th, 171st and 172nd divisions).

On June 21, 1938, he was dismissed from his post because he failed to command the battle.

In February 1939, he served as senior staff officer of lieutenant general Xia Wei, commander in chief of the 16th group army.

On May 1, 1940, he was transferred to the commander of the 46th Army (under the jurisdiction of the 170th division, the 175th division and the new 19th Division).

On December 2, 1942, he was promoted to lieutenant general and Deputy commander-in-chief of the 16th group army.

In April 1945, he was transferred to the military and Political Department (Minister Chen Cheng). He was awarded the medal of loyalty and diligence on October 10.

He was awarded the medal of victory on May 5, 1946. He retired from reserve service on July 31.

In September 1949, he was appointed as Lieutenant General of Guilin appeasement Office (director Li Pinxian), vice chairman of the Personnel Committee and head of the second military and political supervision regiment. On October 11, he also served as a member of Guangxi provincial government (Chairman Huang xuchu). On the 25th of the same month, he concurrently served as commander of the northern Guangxi military and administrative region and commander of the new 13th Army (under the jurisdiction of the new 37th division, the new 38th division and the new 39th Division). On December 13, he became a member of the people's Government of Guangxi Province (Chairman Zhang Yunyi) after he defected to the Ministry of Guangxi Baishou.

On March 15, 1950, he also served as the vice chairman of the Guangxi Provincial People's Commission for the liquidation of past reactionary rule crimes (Chairman Zhang Yiqi). On May 9, he was wanted by the national government for the crime of "treason and banditry". In August, he was transferred to be the chief counselor of the Counselor's office of Guangxi Provincial People's government. In November, he was elected as a standing member of the Consultative Committee of the people's Congress of Guangxi Province.

In February 1955, he was elected as a member of the Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (Chairman Chen Manyuan).

In December 1956, he was elected member of Guangxi Province (Chairman Chen Bensheng) of the democratic revolution.

In December 1957, he resigned as director of the Counselor's office.

In March 1958, he was elected to the Standing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Chairman Liu Jianxun). In October, he was elected a member of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Chairman Chen Shisheng) during the democratic revolution.

He died in March 1959 in Nanning, Guangxi. He is the author of autobiography.
