Sun Zhongxin was born in a poor peasant family. His mother is good at opera, especially classical novels and folktales. Influenced by his mother, sun Zhongxin loved singing since he was young. Before he was 17, he learned to play flower drum, sing Fengyang song, lianhualuo and other folk arts. Later, he studied drama as a teacher and was proficient in PI Huang, bang Zi and Bi Qiang. He is versatile. He is not only good at singing, but also good at playing drums and Qin. He often partners with local folk artists and performs in fairs and temple fairs, which has won the praise of the masses. In 1880, sun Zhongxin joined forces with Liu luanfeng, Zhang Guilan and Zhang Baoguang to perform. They changed the original form of actors playing musical instruments and singing stories in the third person to the form of actors playing roles in their costumes and accompaniment retreating to the back stage. During his years of opera singing, sun Zhongxin creatively applied the tunes, Qupai, percussion music and performing arts of Xiqiang, Bangzi, Beijing Opera and Qinshu to his plays, and adapted such plays as "watching melon garden", "stepmother beating children", "Cui Jinding going to the grave" and "San Xian" (later "Xiaogu Xian"). Because there was no script for these plays at first, the actors sang them randomly according to the plot. When colleagues asked what the name of the play was, sun Zhongxin said, "our play is to follow the vine and smooth the vine to the end. It's called smooth play." From then on, the name of Shuo opera spread. "Le" is homonymous with "Lu", and later it was named "Lu Opera". Sun Zhongxin, together with other artists of the same generation, created the flower of Lu opera, completed the early formation of Lu opera, and trained generations of actors for the further development of Lu opera. Zhang Chuanhai, a famous veteran performer of Lu Opera in the whole province, came out immediately. Chunhua Township and Yanfang Township in Boxing County were once known as "Lvyi township".
