At the age of 13, he began to learn art and perform. Thanks to Chen Mingsheng, he performed in Yongyu music class. In 1920, he joined the Sanqing society, worshipped Kang Zilin as his teacher, and studied art from the famous Dan Yang Sulan, the famous clown Tang guangti, the famous Xiaosheng Xiao Kaicheng, and the famous drummer Tang Deyi. He became famous in the art world in his youth. In 1931, he also visited Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing and other places to make friends by performing arts, and learned ballet from French priests in Shanghai to enrich the dance of Sichuan Opera.
