Zhang Bo

Zhang Bo, male, Han nationality, was born in October 1962 in Huantai, Shandong Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in May 1995 with a postgraduate degree, a doctor's degree in engineering, a professor and a doctoral supervisor.

He is now the chief engineer of the Ministry of ecological environment and director of the Department of water ecological environment.

He joined the army in September 1980 and studied water supply and drainage and heating and ventilation in the Department of architectural engineering, Logistics Engineering College of PLA. in September 1984, he studied for a master's degree in environmental engineering, Department of environmental engineering, Xi'an Institute of metallurgy and architecture. after graduating from master's degree in May 1987, he joined Qingdao Institute of architecture and engineering as a teacher. In April 1993, he studied as a doctoral candidate in Environmental Engineering in school of environmental engineering, Tongji University. after his doctoral degree in July 1996, he successively served as deputy director and assistant dean of the Department of environmental engineering of Qingdao Institute of architecture and engineering. In September 1997, he was vice president of Qingdao Institute of architecture and engineering. In June 2000, he served as deputy director and member of the party leading group of the Environmental Protection Bureau of Shandong Province. since July 2009, he has successively served as director, deputy secretary and Secretary of the Party group of the environmental protection department of Shandong Province. in August 2016, he was transferred to the Ministry of environmental protection as director of the Department of water environment management. in September 2018, he served as director of the Department of water ecological environment of the Ministry of ecological environment. in November 2019, he served as chief engineer of Ministry of ecological environment and director of Department of water ecological environment.
