Sitai town
Sitai Town, belonging to Kang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Kang County, adjacent to Yuntai town in the East, Dabao town in the south, Zhoujiaba town in the northwest, Hanshui River in the north and Chengxian County across the river. It is 47 kilometers away from Kang County, with a total area of 52.74 square kilometers.
After 1949, it was a pilgrimage Township in Dabao district; in 2018, Sitai township was replaced by Sitai Township instead of township. By the end of 2018, the population of Si Tai town registered residence was 5678. As of June 2020, 13 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Sitai Town, and the town people's government is located in Yangwan village.
The main food crops in Sitai town are wheat, corn and soybean, and the main animal husbandry is pig, sheep and chicken.
History of construction
After 1949, it was the pilgrimage town of Dabu district.
In 1953, pilgrimage township was renamed Sitai township.
In February 1958, it was the temple management area of Dabao commune.
In June 1968, jiansitai commune was established.
In December 1983, it was restored to Sitai township.
In 2018, Sitai township was changed from township to town.
