natural resources
water resource
The available amount of surface water in Kongtong district is 110 million cubic meters, and the underground water reserve is 1.2 billion cubic meters. The geothermal water in Kongtong area is mainly composed of the heat storage and water storage layer composed of thick bedded ore rocks in the lower Cretaceous basin, above which is the thermal insulation or water resisting layer composed of the third mudstone. Its heat source and water source are mainly supplied by the piedmont fault zone of diliupan mountain in the west of the basin, and its geothermal water ranges from Liupan Mountain in the west to Ningxian County in Qingyang in the East, which belongs to Longdong geothermal area of Gansu Province. The geothermal well in xinanpo village, Kongtong District, Pingliang City, has a water temperature of 17-20 ℃ and a salinity of 0.81 g / L. The survey borehole of the hydrological team has a depth of 250 meters, revealing the lower Cretaceous aquifer.
