Longli County Longli County, belonging to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, is located in the hinterland of Central Guizhou, the middle of the Miaoling mountains, and the northwest of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The county is 1080 meters above sea level, with hills, low mountains, middle mountains and valley troughs arranged alternately in the north and south.
It is adjacent to Guiding County and Fuquan County in the East, Huishui County in the south, Guiyang City in the West and North. It has a humid subtropical monsoon climate with an annual average temperature of 14.8 ℃. By the end of 2012, the total population of the county was 224266, including Han, Buyi, Miao and other ethnic groups, including 91754 ethnic minorities. The famous scenic spots in the county include Longjiashan Forest Park and Guanshan.
In September 2018, the people's Government of Guizhou Province agreed to withdraw Longli county from poverty-stricken counties.
Evolution of organizational system
Longli county. It got its name from Longjia mountain. According to Jinxian Shiming, it is named after the residence of the long family.
The establishment of Longli was first recorded in the Tang Dynasty. According to the old book of the Tang Dynasty, in the third year of Zhenguan (629), seven counties were established, including Zhuangzhou and lingxin'an. Xin'an County government is located in xin'anpu, Sanyuan Town, 16 kilometers east of Longli county. According to the new book of Tang Dynasty, in the third year of Zhenguan (629), "Manzhou, county one: Bajiang." Bajiang county is located in laobajiang village, Bajiang Township, 70 kilometers north of the county.
In Song Dynasty, Xin'an County was reduced to Jimi county. In the first year of Jiatai (1201), Bajiang county changed from Song Yonggao, the governor of Manzhou prefecture to pingman county (later called Baima Army), and moved to xiaogulong.
In Yuan Dynasty, Xin'an County was changed into Dingyuan Prefecture. Abandoned Bajiang County, with its land is Shunyuan road. In the 20th year of the Zhiyuan Dynasty (1283), Longli Prefecture was set up. It was subordinate to the Xuanwei Department of the Yuan Dynasty in Dalong Fanshun, where it is now located in Longli county. Linglongli county is located 50 Li south of the county (within Liuguang township). In the first year of Dade (1372), Longli Prefecture was abolished and Pingsha was replaced. Longli county was abandoned and replaced by Longli and other village officials' office, which was under the control of fanmin general office.
In Ming Dynasty, Xin'an County was abolished. Hongwu first set up Longli post station. In 1372, it was replaced by Longli commander's office, which was subordinate to Xuanwei envoy's office of Guizhou Province. In 1386, it was replaced by military and civilian commander's office, which was subordinate to the capital of Guizhou Province. In 1390, it was replaced by longliwei, which was subordinate to the capital of Guizhou Province. In 1396, he was promoted to the military and civilian command department. In the same year, the two chief officers of poba Ping and Xiao Ping were new guards. Yongle nine years (1411) set Dagu Longchang lawsuit belongs to Wei. Qing Dynasty. Shunzhi years, home bajiangwei. Kangxi 21 years (1682) abolished, after the establishment of baxiangli, by Guiyang Pro government. On the first day of December in the tenth year of Kangxi (December 31, 1671) (Note: Guiyang Fu Zhi is recorded as October), longliwei was changed to Longli County, belonging to Guiyang Fu. Longli county has jurisdiction over Chengxiang (county) and four townships in the East, South, West and North, three brands of SHANGXIA and dongmiao, and four chief departments of Longli, dagulong, xiaogulong and Yangchang. The former Wei belonged to the Department of Shuidong, and transferred the land to Guiyang government.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Guiyang government; in 1913, it belonged to Qianzhong road; in 1920, it was abandoned and Longli county was directly under the provincial government; in 1935, it belonged to the first administrative supervision area; in 1937, it was directly under the provincial government.
In 1949, it was subordinate to Guiyang district. In 1952, it was transferred to guiding District, and in 1956, it was transferred to Anshun district. In 1958, it was transferred to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and merged with guiding county to become Guiding County. In August 1961, Longli county was restored to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

In 2013, Longli county has jurisdiction over six towns: Longshan Town, Gujiao Town, Xima Town, Yangchang Town, Xingshi town and Sanyuan town; eight townships: Mazhi Township, grassland Township, Wanzhai Township, Baisheng Township, Shuichang Township, nabao Township, Gulong Township and Bajiang township. In 2014, the administrative division of Longli county was adjusted to govern Longshan Town, Gujiao Town, Xingshi Town, wantanhe Town, Xima town and Guanshan sub district office.

Longli county is located in the hinterland of Central Guizhou, northwest of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
