Guancheng Hui District Guancheng Hui District (Guancheng district for short) belongs to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is the central urban area of Zhengzhou City, the capital of Henan Province. It is located between 34 ° 39 ′ - 34 ° 57 ′ N and 113 ° 41 ′ - 113 ° 46 ′ e. it is named after Guanguo capital in the spring and Autumn period. It is also the historical and cultural city of Zhengzhou commercial capital. It is located in the central urban area of Zhengzhou, with a total area of 107 square kilometers and a built-up area of 57.45 square kilometers. Guancheng Hui region is a warm temperate continental monsoon climate with transitional climate characteristics, and warm air mass alternates frequently. As of June 2020, Guancheng Hui District has 13 streets and 1 township.
Guancheng Hui District was founded in October 1948. Due to the establishment and historical name of the Ethnic District, Xiangyang Hui District was changed into Guancheng Hui District in 1983. It is the main site of Shang Dynasty ruins in Zhengzhou and one of the five urban ethnic districts in China.
In 2018, the GDP of Guancheng Hui District reached 104.438 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%. 3600 years ago, Guancheng Hui District was the capital of Shang Dynasty.
At the beginning of the Western Zhou Dynasty, King Wu of Zhou granted his younger brother Ji Xian the title of king, which was called Guan state.
In the first year of King Cheng of Zhou Dynasty, Guan Shu was killed because of the Wugeng rebellion with CAI Shu. Guan Guo was abolished and became the governor of land, directly under the east capital (now Luoyang).
During the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the state of Zheng and South Korea were in charge of the land.
In the Qin Dynasty, Zhiguan County belonged to Sanchuan county.
In the early Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to the Marquis state of Guchi and belonged to Henan county (formerly Sanchuan county).
In 112 BC, the Marquis state of the city was abolished and the land was incorporated into Zhongmou county.
During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Wei Dynasty, the Jin Dynasty, and the southern and Northern Dynasties (except that it once belonged to Yangwu county), it was always under the jurisdiction of Zhongmu County.
In 581, Zhongmou county was changed into Nei county. In the 16th year (596), Neixian county was set up to govern Chengxian County, which was under the jurisdiction of the prefecture.

After Wang Shichong, Gao Zuping of Tang Dynasty restored the state to the city. Zhenguan first year (627 years), abandoned Guanzhou, Guancheng Li Wulao of Zhengzhou. In the seventh year of Zhenguan (633), Zhengzhou was transferred from Wuju to Guancheng.
Since then, Zhengzhou has been called Xingyang county and Zhengzhou Xingyang County, and its administrative office has been located in Guancheng until the Five Dynasties.
In the Song Dynasty, in the fifth year of Xining (1072), Zhengzhou was abolished, and Kaifeng Prefecture, Zhili, Guancheng County, belonged to the West and North roads of Beijing. At the same time, Xingyang and Xingze are the towns in the province. Yuanfeng eight years (1085), the restoration of Zhengzhou, still under the Beijing West, North Road. In 1105, Zhengzhou was renamed Xifu County twice. At that time, there were five counties in Zhengzhou.
In the Jin Dynasty, Zhengzhou governed the county and was subordinate to Nanjing Road. In 1216, Guancheng county was renamed Guchi county.

In October 1948, after the liberation of Zheng county, the people's Government of Zhengzhou implemented the policy of separating cities and counties, establishing Zhengzhou City in the urban area of Zheng county and the first district of Zhengzhou city at the same time. On October 22, 1948, Zheng county was liberated. On October 27, the first district of Zhengzhou was established, with 9 Street offices and 2 Township offices under its jurisdiction. The nine Street offices are: the first street office governs huangdiankeng belt; the Second Street office governs the east section of West Street; the Third Street office governs zhuanpaifang street; the Fourth Street office governs the south of Pingping street; the Fifth Street office governs the South Street area; the Sixth Street office governs the North Street area; the seventh Street office governs the west section of East Street; the Eighth Street office governs around Shuyuan street; and the ninth Street office governs the east section of East Street. The two village offices are Liangzhai, Yanzhuang, Sizhuang, mafen, shenzhuang, Taizhuang and heizhuzhuang; Chenzhuang, fenghuangtai, jinwangmiao, Erligang, Kangzhuang, Yangzhuang, Weizhuang and Gongzhuang. On July 6, 1949, in order to meet the requirements of democratic reform, according to the municipal government's instruction of "reducing the district establishment, canceling the street power, and establishing the post office", the administrative affairs of the first district were handed over to the public security sub Bureau, and the original nine Street offices were merged into four post offices, namely, the original six and seven street offices were merged to establish one post office, the original eight and nine Street offices were merged to establish two posts, the original one and two street offices were merged to establish three posts, and the original one and two street offices were merged to establish three posts 3、 Four and five street offices were merged to establish four. In July 1950, Qianyuan street, dongsanma road and Nanguan, the former Third District, were divided into one district. In September 1951, the democratic reform was completed and the street system was restored. Under its jurisdiction, seven post offices have been changed into seven street governments, namely, dongdajie Street government, Xidajie Street government, caishijie Street government, Nanguan Street government, dongsanma Street government, Beidajie Street government and peichangmiao Street government.
In January 1953, the Hui Autonomous Region was established in Zhengzhou city. The pattern of coexistence of the first district and the Hui Autonomous Region appeared in the old urban area. There are 24 natural streets directly under the central government, including Beiguan Street, Beijie street, mosques street, waiying street, Mahao street, Tang Hutong, Yuanyuan East Street, peichangmiao street, Beishuncheng street, shifuqian street, Daishu Hutong, huangdiankeng street, yingmen street, Yuanyuan West Street, Yuanyuan back street, and Muslim Hutong, Beixia street, Donghe street in District 2 Yang Street, xiheyang street, beidingxingli, nandingxingli, nanchaihuoshi, beicaishi, Hedong street, etc. After the establishment of Zhengzhou Hui Autonomous Region, the original seven street governments in the first district were reduced to five, that is, dongdajie Street government governs 10 natural streets, Xidajie Street government governs 19 natural streets, dongsanlu Street government governs 13 natural streets, Caishi Street government governs 19 natural streets, and Nanguan Street government governs 16 natural streets. In May 1954, the division was further adjusted. The three natural villages of Fenghuang, taixiang, Weizhuang, chaizhuang and Erligang in Jinshui District were merged to form Erligang Street government, which was divided into one district. At this time, the number of street governments under the jurisdiction of the first district increased to six. Meanwhile, Baizhuang and Huanghui workers' dormitory in Jinshui District, the former suburb of the city, and Tiancheng road and Gongren new village in the former second district were included in the Hui Autonomous Region.
In October 1955, the first district of Zhengzhou city was renamed Longhai District of Zhengzhou city. In addition to the original six administrative streets in the first district, qiaojiamen administrative street in the third district of Zhengzhou city was assigned to Longhai district. The street government governs 17 natural streets, including Nanbei qiaojiamen, Houhou Dujia garden, Zhenxing market, qingyunli, Sandri, ronghuali, hanchangli, xisanma Road, Buchang street, Jinsheng street, Jinlong street, xidouzhai, zangjiamen, zhangjiamen and huangjiamen.
