Dry rhizome and tuber. The rhizome is cylindrical, connected by nodes, and the upper part of the stem and leaf remains. The surface is rough, brown gray or brown black, and most tuberous roots are clustered around. The intact root tuber is spindle shaped, 1-3cm long, 2-5mm in diameter, with yellowish white to yellowish brown surface and fleshy texture. There are irregular wrinkles. The broken section is yellowish white. It's slightly sweet.
Produced in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong and other places.
